Sixty-nine days ago, President Donald J. Trump was elected to serve his second term as President of the United States – only the second President to be reelected after a failed bid for a second consecutive term. The historical precedent for this anomaly, set by President Grove Cleveland’s successful bid to return to the White House in 1892, is currently making for some interesting conversations.
While the two former Presidents were not politically aligned – Trump being Republican, while Grover Cleveland was a Democrat – there were allegations of voter fraud swirling around their respective elections (see link below). If nothing else, We the People are now aware that the potential for corruption will probably never go away as long as we aspire to remain a constitutional Republic. All in all, vigilance and the willingness to do right is a small price to pay when it comes to maintaining the rights and freedoms that our way of life provides us. Without spending time or words with regards to our current and soon-to-be exiting administration, Americans will soon be beneficiaries of the long-awaited effective leadership that the deep bench of incoming Trump appointees and cabinet selections provides, an administration that will serve We the People. The enthusiasm for the transition that will happen on January 20 is not just nation-wide: it’s world-wide, as leaders from across the globe seek to speak with our incoming 47th president. May our entire world continue on a path to greatness. Let every American know that within days, we will have the privilege of standing up behind powerful, competent leadership. President Trump is offering all of us a chance to join him in the arena, and fight to wash away the post-modernist stain that has been infecting America for the last forty years. And it’s going to be a helluva fight, one that will require all of us to do our part by not letting up. Rest assured that the enemies of our Constitutional Republic will not go quietly, but we have the might of right on our side. May God continue to bless America on her path to becoming great again.
